Panorama - Medellin desde La Loma

This is a Panoramic shot of part of Medellin from La Loma, a very cool part of the city I visited a few times with David.

The stitching is not perfect (though it is not bad either), done using Hugin and The Gimp, both Free Software.

Awesome view.... how DO you like GIMP? Am about to download it an use... any tips, critiques, how friendly is it? I like the rendition you got in this panorama view.

The stitching looks pretty damn perfect to me. Well done. Just imagine if this photo were taken with a Nikon - it would be an award winner!

By the way, your spam fighting math questions are starting to get increasingly difficult. Go easy on us Poli Sci majors ok?

If this photo were taken with a Nikon it would probably be up on Flickr where a bunch of sad dopes would leave comments like "omg luv the view and what you did /w con-trast plz add it to my group 'green shades from hills in latin american countries'" and some newspaper would rip it off and use it in a column without respecting the CC license. :p

The Math questions serve a dual purpose - fight spam and keep the level of comments on my blog at a post-Poli Sci level.
