I might be going with some friends, 'cept that they have this very, very stupid rule: You can bring 'point-and-shoot' digital cameras to the show, but no digital SLRs.

Asides from the fact that a good photographer can take much higher quality photos with a decent point-and-shoot than an amateur can take with an SLR, the thought that they actually went out of their way to specify 'removable-lens camera' as not being allowed shows some pretty sad understanding of photography in general.
